Social listening iPhone 17 mixed reactions.

I ,like many people in America, own an iPhone. Every phone I have had has been an iPhone. So I was really interested in the new iPhone 17 line up this year. The vibes on social media have been fairly negative but the iPhone continues to dominate in sales. Comments include complaints about durability, connectivity, and general lack of innovation. Apple has long dominated the smart phone industry since its inception. The iPhone is a long running series of smart phone starting in 2007. iPhone makes up 58% of US phone sales and 25% globally making them one of the largest companies in the world. The companies value proposition is that they sell a premium product at a premium price. Social media is generally not a fan of apple and is quick to point out mistakes in their newest products.  I picked this article because I have always enjoyed gaming and FPS games. The debate between Activision's "Call Of Duty" and EA's "Battlefield" has been going on since the early 2000's. I'm a fan of both games series and have been enjoying the new Battlefield 6 since it's launch. This article caught my attention because its a large shift away from a long running tradition of PlayStation heavy COD marketing. Screen Rant published an article titled " PlayStation Just Ended Its Call of Duty Era -- Here's What Comes Next ". The article covers how PlayStation has recently changed up its marketing strategies. Call of Duty is one of the best selling game series of all time with over 500 million copies sold, and it was a major seller on the PlayStation.   ABOUT ME      Hello my name is Nathan Gibson, I am the author of this blog and I'm currently a student at LBCC. I am studying finance and would like to be a financial analyzer. I was previously studying mechanical engineering at Oregon State university and I plan of transfer back to OSU for my bachelors. I spent the summer working at Charbonneau Golf Club. I also enjoy playing golf on sunny days. I'm looking forward to this ski season and plan to go to mt. Bachelor a few times.      I'm looking forward to learning about marketing. I enjoy psychology and marketing seems like an application of it for business. I look forward to learning how to make remarkable products and ads.
